Widder Wonder Garden at Widder Hotel Zürich

Zurich’s old town becomes especially enchanting in winter, and one of its most atmospheric hideaways is the seasonal pop-up in the garden of the Widder Hotel – Widder Wonder Garden. As the days turn colder, the courtyard transforms into a cosy winter nook with charming wooden gondolas, soft lights and the inviting aroma of warm fondue drifting through the air. Each gondola feels like a private chalet — intimate, stylish and ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or a festive date night.

Guests can start with an outdoor aperitif from Tuesday to Friday between 16:00 and 22:00, on Saturdays from 13:00, and on selected Sundays in December. Fondue evenings take place in two seatings: 17:30–20:00 or 20:30–22:30, making it easy to plan before or after a stroll through the beautifully decorated old town.

The experience blends Swiss tradition with a touch of luxury, pairing artisanal fondue with Perrier-Jouët champagne in a setting that feels both exclusive and wonderfully warm.
